World News: General closure in Britain .. Johnson warns of "hidden enemy"
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson imposed on Monday evening a general closure in the United Kingdom for three weeks, aimed at curbing the outbreak of the new Corona virus, which has killed more than 300 people in the country.
In the framework of this procedure, which is effective from Monday evening, the British will not be allowed to leave their homes except in very limited cases such as purchasing the necessary needs and going to work or to the doctor or exercise once a day, according to Johnson in his speech to the nation.
The gathering of more than two people is prohibited, with all shops selling non-essential goods and places of worship closed.
The British Prime Minister also confirmed that the new Corona virus "Covid-19" is the biggest challenge facing Britain for decades, in reference to the "hidden enemy" that is struck the world.
Johnson told the British: "If you do not comply with the laws to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, the police have the authority to impose sanctions on you."
"We seek to strengthen our health system and are looking for a new vaccine," he added.
He pointed out that Britain will stop weddings and other gatherings, and will close shops and stadiums to push citizens to abide by instructions to stay at home to reduce the effects of the Corona virus.
Johnson said that all shops that sell unnecessary goods will be closed, as well as libraries and places of worship, and social activities will be suspended except for funerals.
