Britain's upcoming screening devices are polluted
In a serious incident, British authorities discovered that medical equipment sent to the country to examine those infected with the Coruna virus, was contaminated with the virus itself.
Last week, British Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced that London had requested 3.5 million antibody test devices from several companies.
According to the British newspaper "Daily Telegraph", it was discovered that the main components of the devices, which were ordered from a medical company in Luxembourg, were contaminated with the "Covid 19" virus.
The newspaper report said that the Luxembourg-based company, "Euro Vines", the devices manufacturer, warned laboratories in the United Kingdom that some parts of the devices have been contaminated.
EuroVins said the problem could be solved by "proper cleaning", but admitted that it would lead to a significant delay.
The UK is facing increasing pressure to test more people to overcome the Corona virus pandemic.
The British government says it currently has the ability to conduct 11,000 tests per day, while aiming to reach 25,000 tests per day by mid-April.
The newspaper did not disclose whether the British government would keep the shipment of "contaminated" devices, or return them to Luxembourg.
Britain has officially registered 101,739 cases of the emerging coronavirus, including 11,591 deaths.
Borelli added, "Those who recovered from the Coruna virus reached 14,620, after 1590 patients recovered."
Italy leads the world in corona deaths, followed by Spain, but it is second only to the United States in the total number of injuries.
